Congratulations to all the people who have transformed technology developed at TECNALIA into a real business opportunity.
Ingredalia, a company in which TECNALIA has a stake, came first in the third Ingenia Startup Awards. It develops, manufactures and markets natural functional ingredients using vegetable by-products from the agri-food industry. The award was collected by Miguel Ángel Cubero, CEO of Ingredalia.
These awards are promoted by the Spanish Federation of Food and Drink Industries (FIAB), the Food for Life-Spain Technology Platforms (PTF4LS) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. Their aim is to boost innovation and business entrepreneurship of Spanish startups working in the agri-food sector.
Candidates must offer a viable product and prove that it has high growth potential. The proposal must also be innovative in one of the following fields: product, process, consumer, food safety, circular economy, digitalisation or packaging.
