The Smart Urban Mobility Congress brought together 1,400 attendees and 77 speakers
During the Smart Urban Mobility Congress 1,400 attendees and 77 speakers analysed the strategic role of innovation and technology as driving forces that foster the construction of new sustainable mobility models: their limits and potential to address the challenges and opportunities of mobility in 21st century cities.
Javier Coleto, our Market Director for Industry and Transport participated as an expert to discuss the importance of science and technology as vectors of change that allow the use of alternative fuels and renewable energies to be secured and expanded, offering solutions that modify our mobility patterns and substantially improve our quality of life, while providing existing infrastructure with digital connectivity for smarter, more inclusive and safer mobility.
Thanks to the knowledge and experience of the speakers, which included companies like REPSOL and AMETIC, scenarios regarding the future of mobility were considered and some of the more relevant technologies and applications were identified to make it possible.
An interesting debate which showed the influence of technology and innovation in the development of new infrastructures for sustainable mobility, as well as in the generation of new business models.
