“KUBIK 4.0.: Digital Twin of a real building” smart buildings finalist of the 2020 Enertic Awards

In September, TECNALIA was the chosen as the finalist of the 2020 enerTIC Awards following the vote of the expert committee, which was formed by associated companies and the Platform's Institutional Collaboration Network. Since 2013, the enerTIC Awards recognise innovative technological projects carried out by companies and organisations that are committed to energy efficiency and sustainability.

KUBIK 4.0, finalist in the Smart Buildings category, is a dynamic virtual model aimed at the development of new solutions for energy optimisation of buildings thanks to a large amount of data collected throughout their life cycle.

Its management, visualisation, simulation, and analysis by means of digital technologies help managers address and respond to the main challenges, such as consumption reduction, industrialisation of new solutions, process automation, and maintenance.

Public and private organisations have entered their proposals for this call in 15 different categories, including: Digital Transformation , Industry 4.0, Intelligent Infrastructures, Intelligent IT Infrastructures, Smart Territories, Renewable Energy , Smart Buildings, Smart Cities, Smart Data Centre, Smart Grids, Smart Lighting, Smart Mobility, Smart Products, Smart Vehicles, and Solutions and Services.
