He has discovered the advances in digital transformation of companies through TECNALIA
The Minister for Science, Innovation and Universities, Pedro Duque, has visited the TECNALIA Technological Research and Development Centre and has discovered in detail the advances in digital transformation of companies through TECNALIA.
During the visit to the facilities, the Minister was able to see different examples in the field of power, with developments related to smart grids, artificial intelligence, cyber-security, virtual reality, microgrids, smart photovoltaic self-consumption, offshore wind power, or electric evacuation from large wind farms.
The Minister has also visited two unique TECNALIA laboratories: Blockchain, where companies experiment with their own challenges and needs and can access demonstrations and real case studies of this innovative technology; and the Smart Mobility Lab, where Artificial Intelligence applications are carried out for data management that help to improve traffic in cities.
After the visit, Pedro Duque declared that “TECNALIA is a success story in Europe and an ideal technological partner to support Spanish companies in their digital transformation to become industries 4.0".
