TECNALIA and LAZTAN sign food sector research partnership agreement

Together we will carry out R&D and innovation projects on multi-allergies, food safety and coeliac disease

In September last, TECNALIA signed a partnership agreement with internationally renowned food sector business LAZTAN to conduct R&D and innovation projects into aspects of multi-allergies, food safety and coeliac disease.

The aim of the joint project is to offer the industry a comprehensive service, backed by the ALLERGY PROTECTION seal, the guarantee and quality mark promoted and endorsed by ATX and multi-allergy, coeliac disease and food intolerance specialists LAZTAN.

The ATX quality seal testifies to training, independent studies and strict company audits carried out on companies whose food products improve quality of life and safety for people who suffer from multi-allergies: completely safe menus.

The agreement also covers research on food ingredient production, the development of healthy food products adapted to a range of population groups, ICT, and consultancy in the field of healthy food and nutrition.

Working with ATX Elkartia

ATX Asociación de Multi-Alergia, Dermatitis Atópica y Asma is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that champions the rights of people affected by food allergies before public opinion, the authorities and private businesses.

Its chief aim is making society aware of the difficulties faced by allergy and atopy sufferers in general and children in particular, all of whom deserve attention and protection.
