This collaboration will provide an overview of structure instrumentation and monitoring, and, specifically, its application to concrete structures.
TECNALIA’s Infrastructure Area has joined the Structure Instrumentation and Monitoring working group of ARPHO (Spanish Association for Construction Repair, Reinforcement and Protection), launched on 20 October.
The aim of this working group is to develop a guide with an overview of structure instrumentation and monitoring, and, specifically, its application to concrete structures.
The working group will also analyse in depth the phenomena of structure ageing and wear, and identify the most common problems with a wider approach that will be applicable to any material and not just concrete structures.
