Tecnalia involved in the inspection, diagnosis and intervention approach for the wooden structure of the San Martín de Tours church roof

The planning team of the core project, consisting of architect Pedro Elcuaz and technical architect Aitor Alcelay, has enjoyed TECNALIA’s support in the restoration of the wooden structure.

We have taken part in the inspection and calculation phases of its current condition, in addition to the specific intervention approach proposed for restoring the wooden roof.

The restructuring of the 14 m oak trusses and framework on the dome were two of the actions aimed at preserving as much of the existing structure as possible, as part of our built heritage.
