“The evaluation of the ventilated cladding fixing kits has been based on EAD 090034-00-0404”
Sto Ibérica has had a single liaison throughout the process, streamlining and simplifying the process of obtaining ETAs
The new ETAs, European Technical Assessments, ETA 20/0758, ETA 20/0759, ETA 20/0760 and ETA 20/0761 issued, evaluate the performance, mainly in terms of the mechanical and safety performance of the ventilated cladding fixing kits with the Stoventec Glass V, Stoventec Ceramic Slim, Stoventec Ceramic Extruded and Stoventec Ceramic Compact Visible/Hidden references, marketed by Sto Ibérica.
To obtain the ETAs, the fixing kits have been subjected to different tests, prescribed by the EAD 090034-00-0404 "Kit composed by subframe and fixings for fastening cladding and external wall elements” at our structural safety laboratory.
Fire tests at TECNALIA's laboratories
The tests carried out include the wind load tests or the horizontal and vertical load tests on the different components of the kit, allowing for a full characterisation of their mechanical performance. Other characteristics, such as reaction to fire or corrosion, have also been evaluated for inclusion in the ETAs.
These ETAs have been developed by TECNALIA as a Technical Assessment Body (TAB)designated for the evaluation of innovative products under the framework of the Construction Products Regulation (EU) 305/2011, and member of the European Organisation for Technical Assessment (EOTA), which issues such documents.
