It provides a single point of access where individuals can control and manage the permissions granted to their personal data.
This innovative data management platform ensures data protection compliance in accordance with the pillars of the GDPR. It allows individuals to track, control and manage the data processed from a single access point, and to know where their data are held and have control over revoking them.
It provides extensive support for encryption between the parties involved; personally identifiable information (PII) sharing between data processors and data subjects) carried out through messages. The PII is encrypted in such a way that its content is not accessible, even by PoSeID-on administrators. No “PII in unencrypted text form” pertaining to private transactions or transaction permissions are stored on the platform. No party has access to relationship mappings.
PoSeID-on, which was developed with technologies such as Blockchain, Smart Contracts and Cloud Computing, will be evaluated in four different pilot projects (Italy, France, Spain and Malta) in public, private and mixed contexts. All of the relevant information will be available to users through an easy-to-use web panel, which allows them to track personally identifiable information (PII), manage PII access permissions, and view the level of risk arising from exposing their data.
