The TECNALIA electric laboratories have recently been recognised as an approved laboratory by the SEWA electrical company in the United Arab Emirates. SEWA generates and distributes electricity, water and gas for citizens of the emirate of Sharjah.

The official award ceremony was held during the Middle East Electricity Fair held in Dubai from 5th to 7th March. Priya A. Cherian, Official responsible for the SEWA supplier registration area, visited the TECNALIA Stand at the fair and presented the award to Doctor Luis Martínez Cancela, technical head of the laboratories.

This recognition is added to those already obtained from the electrical companies of the country's largest emirates: Abu Dhabi (ADWEA) and Dubai (DEWA).

Our testing capacities, accredited by the ILAC international body, include electrical equipment for low, medium and high voltage transport and distribution networks, as well as equipment for smart grids.
