Participants were able to discover first-hand the capabilities of the new version of the HarshLab
The new version of the HarshLab was installed in summer 2022 in Bimep, off the coast of Armintza, Bizkaia: it enables atmospheric, splash, immersion and seabed testing to be carried out.
During the Day, ScottishPower, CoreMarine and Inalia, which have tested their products in the HarshLab, shared their laboratory experiences. Those present were also able to have an enriching joint discussion on how to get the most for our customers out of this unique infrastructure.
The trends, challenges, needs and opportunities in the offshore sector were also discussed. The Day ended with a boat trip to the HarshLab, anchored 1.6 miles from the port of Armintza.
