Ground-breaking technological advances in the photovoltaic industry

The 5th SOLAR FORUM, a benchmark event in the photovoltaic industry in Spain, which is organised by the Spanish Photovoltaic Union - UNEF, has gathered 600 attendees to debate on matters affecting the present and future of the photovoltaic sector in our country.

After assessing the roadmap of the photovoltaic industry throughout the entire value chain in a 5-year scenario, they noted the evolution of photovoltaic cells, the new modular trends, innovation in investors, and the importance of monitoring and controlling plants.

Félix Nanclares, TECNALIA Digital Energy Deputy Director focused on the role of digitalisation as a transforming element in the photovoltaic sector.

The round table was moderated by FOTOPLAT (Spanish Photovoltaic Technology Platform) and TECNALIA, with the collaboration of companies such as Aurinka PV, Enertis Solar, Sungrow Ibérica, and GreenPowerMonitor.
