“The Government and the Autonomous Regions have set up the Spanish Research Ethics Committee and agreed on its composition”
The Minister of Science and Innovation, Diana Morant, chaired the 15th meeting of the Science, Technology and Innovation Policy Council at the Aula DEI Experimental Station (Zaragoza). The Spanish Research Ethics Committee was set up and its membership agreed at this meeting.
Shandra Cordobés, Technology Director at TECNALIA is one of the new members of the Science, Technology and Innovation Advisory Council.
The other members of this Council are representatives of Indra, Ingenio, CSIC- UPV, Pompeu Fabra University, Valencia University, SILO, National Oncology Research Centre, Spanish Federation of Technology Centres, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Foundation for the Transformation of La Rioja, Institute of Public Policies and Assets, Deusto University and Cordoba University.
"Science must always ensure that scientific knowledge and innovation are available and at the service of progress and improving the lives of citizens," said Minister Morant.
