On Tuesday, 7 December, the third edition of Argentina Tecnológica 2021 was held, called “Looking into the 4.0 Ecosystem” and organised by ADMIRA (Association of Metallurgy Industries of the Republic of Argentina). This initiative aims to take a look at how the national 4.0 ecosystem is being developed in Argentina in order to incorporate new technologies into the industry.
Important civil servants and Argentinian officials also took part, including Daniel Filmus, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of Argentina.
New 4.0 businesses
Sergio Bandinelli, Business Development Director of TECNALIA Ventures, was a panellist on “New 4.0 Businesses”. Sergio talked about business transformation and company adaptation. He said that “changes should not only be approached from a technological perspective, but also taking into account the transformation of the company”.
Bandinelli also explained that “the challenge faced by companies is not only to plan how to change their business, but also to think, from a Corporate Venturing perspective, how to build bridges between companies and startups, acknowledging that not all startups are the same, and that not all of them are at the same point of maturity or work with the same technology, so there are different ways to connect with them.”
