Enabling Technologies 4.0
A few months ago we organised a call for young technology companies to present solutions to the challenges posed in the field of sensing and monitoring (IoT), big data / data analytics and vision technologies for training centres and maritime rescue.
These calls were replicated in different countries as part of the European AT VIRTUAL project. They were aimed at accelerating the digitalisation process of Maritime Safety Training Centres (MSTCs) in the Atlantic Area, by introducing enabling technologies to improve capacity, preparedness and response in maritime emergency operations.
Competing experiences
Some months later, we can see the results of this process and how the challenges were tackled.
