The design and fashion industry is undergoing a great revolution thanks to smart materials which, combined with IT, are leading to innovative products in which the connectivity and intelligence of the fabric are the key to achieving more comfort, safety and features not seen before.
In order to learn more about technological innovations in the sector, as well as future trends, TECNALIA is preparing a meeting with experts as part of DWEEK 2017. This event is organised by BiDC and Bizkaia Provincial Council in collaboration with the European Regional Development Fund, and will be a meeting point to promote creative industries like architecture, handicrafts, audiovisuals, communication, digital contents, design, interior design, fashion and video games.
Other companies will be present as well as TECNALIA: TERNUA, MATERIAL CONNEXION BILBAO, ENEA and ATHLETIC CLUB DE BILBAO, to name a few, to talk about the latest innovations, as well as needs and challenges that could be faced with smart materials, in order to achieve connectivity in sectors like communication, interior design, design, fashion and sports.
