Legal framework for the CE marking of glass products
Glass and its by-products have evolved significantly over recent decades and have become an omnipresent material in all types of constructions due to its versatility and characteristics. In many cases, it becomes the differentiating element of the building, both in the building envelope and in the interior.
In addition to providing an aesthetic appearance to the building, glass products provide the building with performance: thermal comfort, fire resistance, acoustic insulation, safety of property, safety of users, etc.
Process for obtaining the CE marking
