We will present new technologies in the field of resilience of linear infrastructures

We will present a workshop to showcase the latest results and developments of different technologies in the field of resilience of linear infrastructures within the ReCharged initiative(Climate-aware Resilience for Sustainable Critical and Interdependent Infrastructure Systems enhanced by emerging Digital Technologies).

Resilience and competitiveness

For entities involved in the management of any kind of linear infrastructure, incorporating climate change and resilience concepts into decision-making is an issue in a continuous balancing act between ambition and pragmatism.

Administrations have the ambition to use new approaches and technologies. However, they need to balance this with pragmatic and proven practices, while information needs and data availability do not always coincide and this is often a starting problem. Perhaps the most crucial question is how to build and apply the climate change and resilience concept in favour of adaptation, balancing the levels of service that the infrastructure network needs to achieve with the costs and benefits of such an improvement.

**This event will be held in English and places are limited to 40 people.
