Decarbonization and energy generation, as a strategic resource, are relevant in our economy, and this is confirmed by the European Green Deal and the REPowerEU Plan
The integration of photovoltaic elements in architecture (BIPV - Building Integrated Photovoltaics), which replaces conventional construction materials, is presented as a solution that generates clean energy while maintaining passive properties. The low increase in costs compared to some conventional solutions and the continuous aesthetic improvements are favoring its deployment.
European meeting forum
This conference aims to promote a European meeting forum in which international experts in BIPV and high-level professionals in photovoltaics, construction and architecture will contribute keys, exchange ideas and discuss new technologies, opportunities and challenges associated with photovoltaic integration.
- Teodosio del Caño (OnyxSolar), Thomas Friesen (SwissINSO-Kromatix), Karl Viriden (Viridén+Partner), Nuria Martín, (CIEMAT), Julen Astudillo (TECNALIA), Xabier Olano (TECNALIA) and Jose María Vega de Seoane (TECNALIA) will present their experiences and tell us about the keys to approach projects in BIPV.
Who is this workshop for?
- This event is aimed at professionals interested in the integration of photovoltaics in buildings and other infrastructures, including architecture studios, construction professionals, glass manufacturers and processors, and manufacturers of photovoltaic elements.
This event is organized in collaboration with IEA PVPS task 15.
**The language of the event will be English.
