Summer course in Madrid on neurotechnology: What does the human brain hide?
Neurotechnology, together with neuroscience, seeks to discover the brain’s great enigmas and encompasses technologies that help visualise processes, control, repair, and improve its functions.
This discipline is the focus of one of the Summer Courses at the Complutense University of Madrid, which will address the major challenges in this field over a two-day programme.
- Ander Ramos, TECNALIA Health researcher, and neuroscience expert, will take part in this course.
- The course is directed by Rafael Yuste, Álvaro Pascual-Leone, José Carmena, José Ramón Núñez Peña as coordinator, and Ander Ramos as secretary.
- Neurotechnology research, clinical applications, neurotechnology training, and entrepreneurship are some of the topics to be addressed.
Seventy-seven courses and twenty-five cultural activities make up this summer course.
The world of health will take centre stage this year in the Summer Courses programme; issues such as pain and mental health, health system innovations, medical education, medicine innovation and evaluation, scientific dissemination, neuroscience and neurotechnology, public health, and healthy eating will be addressed.
