ULMA Architectural Solutions has launched COFABIM, a BIM façade configurator developed by TECNALIA.
This tool, developed by TECNALIA with web3D and OpenBIM technologies, helps to easily generate different alternatives in terms of format, colour and texture for BIM façade projects, producing an IFC file.
BIM model from a 2D plan
COFABIM generates a BIM model from a 2D plan, or from a BIM model generated with any other BIM program you work with, for example, Revit.
It shows the project’s final result, with the format, colours and even textures you have chosen. Tests and changes can also be carried out until you find the best combination thanks to an image of the final project, which enables you to make the best decision as quickly as possible.
