Functional printing, advanced joining processes and printed electronics in industry

11 March 2019

Innovative solutions that contribute to solving technological challenges

Printed electronics, flexible electronics and organic electronics are terms used to describe an innovative technology. The underlying elements are conductive plastics and polymer inks that are printed on foils. The result is extremely thin and sensitive screens, and luminescent sensors and films, among other solutions.

Printed electronic components are conductive polymers and inks that can be printed on paper, glass or fabrics, on large surfaces and at a low cost. Compared to conventional electronics, these electronic components offer a number of benefits: they are extremely thin, flexible and transparent.

They can be used for a wide range of applications: consumer electronics, packaging, automotive industry, pharmaceuticals, energy or white goods: we achieve innovative products such as touch sensors, flexible displays, solar cells, luminescent films and smart labels.

At LOPEC 2019, the European trade fair for printed electronics, we presented the new technologies for functional printing and printed electronics as well as the advanced joining processes required for this type of solution that we have been developing and working on with our clients.
