Javier Del Ser, researcher in applied artificial intelligence at TECNALIA, has been included in the prestigious Stanford List of the World’s Top 2% Most Influential Researchers

The Stanford ranking is considered to be one of the most prestigious in the world. It is based on standardised citation metrics that assess the impact of the research carried out by researchers in the international scientific community. In this edition, not only has Javier been recognised for his contributions in 2023, but also for his entire research career.

This achievement has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of his colleagues at TECNALIA, as well as the students he has had the honour of mentoring at UPV/EHU and Granada University.

Recognition for research excellence

Stanford University has recently published an updated list of the World's Top 2% Scientists in different disciplines. This ranking, considered to be the most prestigious in the world, is based on the bibliometric information contained in the Scopus database and includes more than 190,000 researchers out of more than 8.5 million scientists who are considered to be active worldwide.
