Electrical Labs showcased its power cable laboratory services at the JICABLE 2023 Conference
TECNALIA Electrical Labs participated in the JICABLE 2023 International Conference Exhibition, the world's largest power cable event which is held every 4 years. For the 2023 edition, the event moved to the Convention Centre in Lyon.
Exhibitors included some of the world's leading cable and accessory manufacturers, such as PRYSMIAN ,NKT or SÜDKABEL; renowned international laboratories and suppliers of equipment and tools for manufacturers and laboratories.

TECNALIA participated as an exhibitor, presenting its laboratory services aimed at the world of insulated power cables:
- Type tests on medium and high voltage cables and cable systems up to 220 kV
- Short-circuit tests
- On-site commissioning tests on high voltage cables up to 400 kV
- Fault analysis of cables and accessories.
Our electrical laboratories are accredited by @ILAC according to the ISO 17025 standard for laboratory type testing of medium and high voltage cables and cable systems in accordance with the IEC 60502, IEC 60840 and IEC 62067 standards, as well as on-site testing prior to the commissioning of high voltage underground and submarine cables.
