We have held a conference focused on the challenges and opportunities in the digital transformation of the health sector
TECNALIA has held the "Supercomputing: challenges and opportunities in the digital transformation of healthcare” conference. The event brought together experts from the sector to discuss how digitalisation can be a key driver to increase efficiency and quality in healthcare, as well as its role in the sustainability of the healthcare system.
Digital Transformation in Healthcare event
Key questions were addressed throughout the conference, such as:
- The use of artificial intelligence in clinical decision-making, personalisation of treatments, optimisation of healthcare resources and disease prevention through data analysis.
- The use of high-speed processing infrastructure in secure spaces to develop pre-production research and pilot projects, guaranteeing and accelerating the bringing to market of innovative solutions.
- The simulation of care processes in a sandbox designed for testing and validation.
- Sectoral data spaces, such as high-value ecosystems for biomedical research, the development of innovative therapies and the improvement of healthcare quality through real-time information.
Our technology partners and leading experts attended the event, such as Julio Gómez (CTO of DELL Technologies), Alberto Torres (Business Development Manager of RedHat), Pablo Rodrigo Barrio (Major Account Manager at Arista Networks) and Javier Peman (Corporate Sales Director at NVIDIA), who shared their perspectives and experiences with our colleagues Borja Bonail and Joseba Laka.
The conference was rounded off with a lively debate and a lunch-colloquium, in which attendees were able to exchange ideas and network.
