“TECNALIA presented its services and technological developments related to electricity grids”
TECNALIA presented innovations for the digitalisation of the electricity grid at ENLIT 2023
We participated in ENLIT 2023, the leading trade fair on smart grids, held in Paris from 28th to 30th November.
The event combined an extensive exhibition of products and solutions for this sector with multiple conferences in its “Summit,” as well as various presentations and panels grouped in the “Digitalisation,” “Decarbonisation,” “Decentralisation,” and “Democratisation” hubs; (the 4Ds that are driving the current energy transition towards a decarbonised economy).
Once again, TECNALIA was represented by a joint team from Digital Lab Services and the Networks and Energy System Area to focus particularly on two lines of activity:
- Certification of smart meters and equipment for substations and transformer substations,
- Development of digital technologies for the optimal management of a flexible, sustainable and resilient electricity grid.
Demonstration panel on virtualisation and edgecomputing technologies
Over these three intense days, numerous meetings were held with partners and customers to establish new avenues of collaboration and to outline new business opportunities. TECNALIA was highly visible with its own stand in the Basque Country Pavilion, where the services we provide and the technological developments related to electricity grids in which we are immersed were presented.
Our demonstration panel on virtualisation and edge computing technologies was of particular interest. Interested parties were able to learn about the various advanced functionalities of the new smart transformation centres.
