“The DTI network now has 619 members of which 440 are destinations, 86 are institutional members, 86 are companies and seven are international observers”.
TECNALIA renews its membership of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism's Smart Tourist Destinations Network (DTI) in order to achieve smart and sustainable tourism.
The main objective of the DTI Network, an initiative of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, is to promote digitalisation and sustainability in Spain's tourist destinations. This network is based on five fundamental pillars: governance, innovation, technology, sustainability and accessibility. Our commitment to this network represents our recognition and contribution to the implementation of these key areas.
The network now has 619 members, of which 440 are destinations, 86 are institutional members, 86 are companies and seven are international observers.
The renewal of our membership of the DTI Network is based on our work and support in promoting synergies and knowledge transfer in the tourism sector and our expertise in one of the key pillars, digitalisation, as well as R&D&I activity in the tourist sector.
Technological Solutions
TECNALIA has been implementing various initiatives to align with the DTI Network standards. These include the development of innovations focused on technologies that facilitate the tourist experience, the promotion of sustainable routes and the implementation of technological solutions that help smart and sustainable tourism.
With this membership, TECNALIA continues to be at the forefront of tourism transformation in Spain, demonstrating its technological capacity to contribute to the challenges of tourism in the 21st century, along with the rest of the agents involved.
