“TECNALIA collaborates with 12 partners from six European countries in the development of hybrid models based on building physics and real usage data”
We accelerate the digital transformation of historic non-residential buildings in Latvia, the Netherlands and Spain, combining energy efficiency with renewable sources through smart, digital technologies
TECNALIA is collaborating with 12 partners from six European countries in the development of hybrid models based on building physics and real usage data. These models will be the basis for developing and verifying predictive control models to optimise the operation of buildings and their associated HVAC systems.
The SMARTeeSTORY initiative
The SMARTeeSTORY initiative seeks to decarbonise historic city buildings without altering their identity. Historic buildings are landmarks in European cities and therefore play an important role in showcasing the benefits and potential of digitalisation and energy transition.
Non-invasive, customised and replicable technological infrastructures
Their high energy consumption and adaptive limitations represent a challenge that SMARTeeSTORY aims to solve with non-invasive, customisable and replicable technology infrastructures; improving the Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI).
