We collaborate with IMH and UPV/EHU on three postgraduate degrees

27 June 2018

They are specialised in Digital Manufacturing, Industry 4.0 and Additive Manufacturing

The industrial revolution 4.0 is a reality that drives the need for companies to adapt their organisation and production models. This involves designing profiles for 4.0 People of the future according to this new paradigm and new work models.

TECNALIA as a key player in the digitalisation of the industry acts as a transmission belt between the profiles that companies and centres and universities require. In this context, we have collaborated with IMH and UPV/EHU in designing a Master's Degree in Digital Manufacturing, and two Specialist degrees in Predictive Data Analytics Projects for Industry 4.0; and in Additive Manufacturing.

These degrees will be taught in dual mode; meaning that the student, company and university work together, training the person from the beginning. They are aimed at both recent graduates and professionals who, via this method of alternating work and training in different places, guarantee their technical training.

At TECNALIA we know the latest technologies and their impact in companies first hand. But we also need trained and prepared people to work with them. Our collaboration in these three degrees has given us the opportunity to train these people, thus being able to provide them our knowledge and our laboratories and Industry 4.0 infrastructure.

An information session will be held at TECNALIA on 5 July so that interested companies and graduates can get to know about the degrees in more detail and see the facilities in which some of their classes will be taught.
