In this context, the Pathways2Resilience (P2R) initiative, in which we participate, plays a crucial role in supporting regions to create transformational adaptation strategies. The framework, known as the Regional Resilience Journey, integrates the development of a shared vision by exploring possible future scenarios.
This generates positive narratives and a shared understanding of what a just climate transition should entail, identifying specific potentials and levers of change for the region. It also includes flexible decision-support tools such as adaptation roadmaps, enabling regions to explore a variety of scenarios and potential solutions to improve resilience.
P2R Toolbox
We have developed the P2R Toolbox, a key resource within the initiative that provides clear guidance, through a guide and essential tools. It includes more than 300 resources to support regions in gathering relevant information and structuring their climate resilience strategies. TECNALIA's developments include tools to analyse vulnerabilities and risks, manage stakeholder participation, set goals to strengthen resilience to future climate conditions and develop action plans and solution strategies.
This toolbox not only supports regions in developing their resilience strategies, but also provides the resources needed to implement the necessary changes, fostering the creation of enabling conditions for the required adaptations.
