The purpose is to develop innovation projects aimed at improving the management of the electrical system
The collaboration agreement with Red Eléctrica consolidates a cooperation framework between the technical sector and the company for the development of innovation projects aimed at improving the management of the electrical system.
This alliance has arisen following the analysis of the different recurrent collaborations that Red Eléctrica has had with TECNALIA and other entities from the academic and technological sphere. Since 2008, work has been carried out on large scale economic initiatives and on areas in which we are a benchmark and have recognised prestige.
The company is seeking to boost and foster the incorporation of technologies, solutions and new ways of working as a growth lever: responding to future challenges, anticipating and adapting to global tendencies derived from the new energy model.
For the execution of this initiative, Red Eléctrica will invest 2.4 million euros over five years. This money will be spent on the development and innovation projects that arise from the needs of the company within a more efficient and sustainable energy model.
