Generation of the necessary knowledge that enables a series of technologies to be used, such as nanocellulose, 3D printing, electrospinning and hybridisation, to show its applicability in the additive manufacturing of pharmaceutical forms for personalised medicine

Through this project, we develop pharmaceutical forms that are adapted to the needs of patients and can be effectively implemented in the pharmaceutical industry, addressing one of the major challenges that the sector faces.

3D printing technologies, electrospinning and hybridisation between both techniques, or the use of nanocellulose, such as biopolymer for use in the advanced manufacturing of multi-component pharmaceutical forms is one of the soundest proposals to face the challenge of personalised medicine.

In this way, we will resolve problems of conventional pharmaceutical technology, proposing effective and feasible alternatives adapted to specific needs.
