This project aims to provide industry, including SMEs, with Open Innovation Test Beds (OITB): facilities and services for the design, development, testing, safety evaluation, scaling and marketing of products based on nano-surface and membrane technologies.
The Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) will define the goods and services available on the market over the next decade. Among these, nano-surfaces and membranes have enormous potential to offer solutions to address the sustainable development goals. This project allows for their cost-effective deployment and sustainable industrial scaling.
The project aims to fine-tune the Open Innovation Test Beds (OITB) to provide the necessary resources and services to implement efficient and cost-effective nano-product manufacturing processes: advanced surfaces, coatings, functionalisation of surfaces to improve the properties of nano-structured membranes. They are processes on the latest generation nano-scale for the modification, functionalisation and structuring/coating of surfaces or membranes.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme, under Grant Agreement No. 862100.
