Methodologies and tools to help in the design and development of new circular business models focusing on the generation of new construction products, based on secondary raw materials from different industrial and urban sectors on an urban and peri-urban scale. Its objective is to foster the efficient use of waste / resources in the construction sector.
It is a demonstration project in which the development of a business model for more sustainable urban construction is combined with the development of a series of technological solutions and technical knowledge aimed at obtaining materials for the production of products for the construction sector. All of this is based on different streams of waste generated in an urban or peri-urban environment.
The business model developed by the CINDERELA Project acts as a facilitator of opportunities derived from these solutions. A cooperation and digital knowledge platform is also being developed to facilitate its implementation in different regional and urban contexts. This framework will generate a digital support environment for companies or other agents interested in the circular economy.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme, under Grant Agreement No. 776751.
